Born and raised in Grants Pass, Oregon, she has lived a life marked by resilience, exploration, and a deep commitment to both her personal and professional aspirations.

As a young girl, Melissa Rumfalo developed a love for dancing. Her dance journey began in Grants Pass, where she took her first classes, sparking a lifelong interest in movement and rhythm. As she grew older, Melissa expanded her dance repertoire, delving into hip-hop and Latin dances, particularly salsa and bachata. This new passion has become her main dance focus, and she’s been immersed in learning and mastering these vibrant, expressive styles.

Melissa Rumfalo of Oregon has also always exhibited a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of others. This calling led her to move to Los Angeles as an intern at the Los Angeles Dream Center, a renowned inner-city ministry and nonprofit organization dedicated to helping underserved communities. Over the course of three years, she immersed herself in volunteer work, providing support to individuals struggling with homelessness, addiction, and poverty. Her time at the Dream Center not only strengthened her faith and sense of purpose but also exposed her to the realities of urban challenges, reinforcing her commitment to community service and outreach.

In 2008, seeking a change of pace and an opportunity to explore the great outdoors, Melissa relocated to Washington, where she worked at a ski resort. Her time in the Pacific Northwest deepened her love for snowboarding and outdoor adventure, allowing her to embrace the natural beauty of the mountains. She remained in Washington for two years before returning to Los Angeles in 2010, once again seeking new experiences and career opportunities.

During her time in Los Angeles, Melissa Rumfalo of Oregon developed a keen interest in health and fitness. She dedicated herself to learning about nutrition and physical training, eventually earning certifications in ISSA Nutrition and NASM for personal training. Passionate about wellness, she trained friends and acquaintances, helping them achieve their fitness goals. In 2015, she took her expertise to a professional setting, working as a personal trainer at Club Northwest. This period in her life was characterized by a commitment to self-improvement, both physically and mentally, as she embraced the discipline and dedication required to excel in the fitness industry.

Beyond her work in health and wellness, Melissa Rumfalo of Oregon also explored various other opportunities in Los Angeles. She worked as a temporary employee in different roles, gaining experience across multiple industries that added to the diverse tapestry of her professional journey. However, family remained a central priority in her life, leading her to make a significant decision in December 2014—she moved back to her hometown of Grants Pass, Oregon, to be closer to her loved ones.

Upon returning to Oregon, Melissa Rumfalo of Oregon pursued higher education with determination. She enrolled at Rogue Community College, where she earned a transfer degree, further expanding her academic foundation. Her dedication to education did not waver, and when the COVID-19 pandemic altered the world in 2020, she took the opportunity to continue her studies remotely. She enrolled at Walden University and, despite the challenges of balancing school with impending motherhood, she graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a remarkable achievement that came just one month after the birth of her son.

Motherhood became a transformative experience for Melissa Rumfalo of Oregon. Her son, now 2.5 years old, is the center of her world. Not long after, in early 2020, she embarked on an even more ambitious journey, a two-month trip across Central and South America. Traveling through diverse regions, she gained valuable insights, new perspectives, and unforgettable memories that further enriched her worldview.

With a strong foundation in business and a wealth of varied experiences behind her, Melissa Rumfalo of Oregon entered the professional world with a new focus in 2024, joining ECS in a sales role. Her ability to connect with people, combined with her background in hospitality and customer service, made her well-suited for the position.
